This Sencha is more than just a tea, it’s a celebration of Japanese spring and early harvest.
Uniquely crafted following the Mushiseiho tradition, Japan’s distinctive tea steaming method, our Sencha captures the vibrant freshness of young tea leaves. This steaming process, performed immediately after harvest, halts oxidation and preserves the tea’s natural green color, potent nutrients, and deep umami flavor.
Unlike other green teas, Mushiseiho makes Japanese green tea wonderfully fresh and vivid, setting it apart in flavor and aroma.
With every sip, discover a balanced flavor profile.
A rich umami meets a subtle, lingering sweetness, complemented by delicate floral notes and a hint of fresh-cut grass. This unique steaming method gives Sencha its smooth, clean taste and vibrant green hue, bringing the essence of Japan’s tea culture to your cup.

To fully enjoy the delicate flavors and fresh aroma of our Sencha, follow these brewing steps:
Prepare the Leaves: Measure 2 teaspoons (4 grams) of Sencha tea leaves and place them into your teapot. A small, Japanese-style teapot (kyusu) is recommended for best results.
Heat the Water: Use 120-150 ml of water heated to 70-80°C to extract the tea's umami and sweetness without bitterness. Avoid boiling water, as it may overwhelm the delicate flavors.
Pour and Steep: Gently pour the hot water over the leaves, ensuring they are fully covered. Allow the tea to steep for 1 minute to bring out a balanced, smooth taste and vibrant aroma.
Serve and Enjoy: Pour the tea into your cup, savoring the harmonious blend of umami and subtle sweetness. For a second infusion, steep the same leaves for 10-15 seconds, adjusting to taste.
