To enjoy the full, rich flavor of our Genmaicha, follow these brewing steps:
Prepare the Leaves: Add 2 teaspoons (4 grams) of Genmaicha tea leaves to a small, Japanese-style teapot (kyusu) for best results.
Heat the Water: Use 120-150 ml of water heated to 90-100°C. This temperature enhances the roasted depth of the rice and Sencha.
Pour and Steep: Gently pour the hot water over the tea leaves in the kyusu, ensuring even coverage. Let it steep for 1 minute to bring out the warm, toasted character.
Serve and Enjoy: Pour the tea into your cup, savoring its smooth, layered richness. For a lighter second infusion, steep the same leaves for 15-20 seconds
